This year marks the 40th anniversary of CALED’s Annual Training Conference. Taking place from March 25-27, this year’s conference is being held at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel located in Sacramento, California. With the theme of “Getting It Done”, the CALED conference is one of the largest gatherings of its kind where economic developers from all over the state converge to discuss successful approaches to strategic planning within communities, engaging with communities through relationship building, and utilizing key resources to help further community development.
RSG has been a long-time supporter of CALED and has taken great pride in our involvement with the organization, not only as committee members and featured speakers, but as a frequent conference sponsors. RSG once again has the pleasure of not only being a sponsor at this year’s conference but, serving as speakers on (2) of the panel discussions taking place over the course of the event.
Representing RSG at this year’s conference will be Principal and firm President, Jim Simon, Senior Associates, Domonique Clark and Suzy Kim, and, Associate, Alexandra Lawrence. Jim Simon will be a featured speaker at the General Session: Trending in Incentives Luncheon, discussing all things economic development incentives including how and when to use them. Dominique Clark will be a featured speaker at the Breakout Session: Bridging Silos, discussing collaborative efforts within communities as a path to economic development success.
While we are not an exhibitor at this year’s event, we hope that you’ll attend our sessions and stick around after to chat. We look forward to connecting with you and we’ll see you in March!
