Since 2017, RSG has helped the Successor Agency by fulfilling key responsibilities, such as completing the annual Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule, gaining Successor Agency and Oversight Board approval, completing the Prior Period Adjustment report, and submitting timely and accurately all required forms to the State Department of Finance and County Auditor-Controller. RSG was instrumental in ensuring that all requirements were met, and all obligations could be satisfied. When outgoing staff was unable to pass along key information to new staff during several transitions, RSG served as the repository of institutional knowledge. RSG advises staff on best practices for fund management and provides advance notice of upcoming changes in the dissolution process.
