Assisted with the preparation of desk monitoring notices for affordable properties to request income certification materials and ensure clients’ compliance with affordable housing requirements.

Updated affordable housing project income and rent limits pursuant to state and federal program limits. Used updated limits to calculate new range of affordable rents.

Composed summaries of covenants and agreements for affordable housing projects to ensure projects comply with state requirements.

Used ArcGIS Pro to help develop a map that identifies Disadvantaged Unincorporated Communities (DUCs) in the state of California to assist low-resourced LAFCOs with their statutory requirements. Used ArcGIS Online to create an interactive web mapping application to enhance the visual presentation and interactive elements for the DUC map.

Conducted a field study assessing the conditions of deterioration for commercial, residential, and vacant parcels. Using field study and socio-economic data, conducted statistical and GIS analysis to determine areas of interest for commercial and residential rehabilitation.    

Used ArcGIS Pro and ESRI Business Analyst to collect and analyze data for a Neighborhood Standards Review for the City of Merced. Utilized ArcGIS Pro to map the distribution of affordable housing projects throughout the city.  

Assisted in continuing disclosure reporting by creating land-use tables.

Led interactive workshops in both English and Spanish on topics of sustainability and community collaboration.

Translated informational documents and presentations from English to Spanish to provide resource access to Spanish-speaking community members.

Updated a city-wide Affordable Housing Database to ensure compliance with provisions of AB 987 by describing new and substantially rehabilitated housing units that were either developed or otherwise assisted with Low- and Moderate-Income Housing Funds.  

Researched and reviewed local municipal codes to support the creation of new inclusionary housing ordinances.

Conducted physical unit inspections, common area inspections, and tenant file audits to ensure that affordable properties remain in compliance with state and federal affordable housing requirements.

Participated and facilitated a community meeting in Spanish to gather feedback from Spanish speaking community members regarding the development of an Economic Development Strategic Plan.
